P-38 Progress at last :)

Well after a 3 month lapse here is an update on my P-38.

Cockpit painted and fitted, fuselage together and after many hours filling, sanding and re-scribing it's almost ready for some paint-YAY!!!

Props, landing gear and fuel tanks are done and weathered already. Canopy is already masked as well so lots of little bits finished and ready to go.

Still working on the nose section and re-scribing this area now.

I have also built a second desk-top paint stand for all my paints and stuff:

Cheers,

Mark

    1. Just built the one on the right, took about 1 hour to throw together. Just went to Bunnings and bought cheap pre cut timber and I worked out lengths that would compliment each other without too much cutting at home.

Designed it as I went.. The bottom shelf is really good for primer cans etc. now somewhere to put my tools as well.

If I wanted to spend more time I woul have also designed and drilled for paint brushes etc as well but really just neede more room for my paints and my recent purchase of a heap of Ak interactive products.

Another update on the lightning to follow soon.
